Everyone outside the design studio asked “Why are you dressing up as Storm Troopers?”… everyone inside the studio didn’t realise they needed a reason.
The Graphic Pull business cards, which have been going down a storm, have been published in “Business Cards 3 – Designs on Saying Hello” by Michael Dorrian. They will also be featured by a Tokyo based publisher in their forthcoming design book.
My designs for a set of speakers were shortlisted for the DesignBoom awards. Which I was very pleased with as it was open to ‘proper’ product designers. Didn’t quite make the winning 3 out of 3000 entries… next time.
Wow – How cool. My ‘MacMod’ won one of the categories in the 2008 MacMod Challenge, coming third overall. Really chuffed, this was the icing on the cake. If you flick back through the diary you’ll find some more photos.
Curiosity Cola, that’s what they call it. Botanically brewed, it has a strange but pleasant aftertaste. It’s less sickly sweet than two other colas that spring to mind and comes wrapped in a retro style bottle. Carlsberg don’t do cola, but if they did…

Fifteen minutes of fame. I designed and built a new desktop Mac out of my old PowerBook and it caused a bit of a stir. Originally published by MacMod.com, from there it went crazy many technology sites covered it (and said nice stuff).
